Stream of climate consciousness from Nigeria

I often wonder why I write about climate change, especially in developing countries. Almost every phrase triggers a crisis of attribution – is the problem caused by global warming or just timeless human abuse of the environment?

I could only envy the fluency displayed in a series of 5 Climate Factsheets on the “repercussions” of climate change published by the Nigerian Environmental Study/Action team (NEST). Each pours out a thousand words of eloquent and unhesitant prediction of the perils in store for Nigeria.

Unsigned and unnamed, my guess is that this is the work of NEST chair David Okali.
